Who we are
TRW & Co is an international law firm with offices and teams serving clients across South Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom and China. Our Shenzhen representative office sits in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, close to the manufacturers, technology companies, investors and trading houses that drive cross-border business between China and the rest of the world.
What the Shenzhen office does
The office supports two kinds of clients: foreign companies and investors doing business in or with China, and Chinese companies, founders and families investing, trading or building teams abroad. We help them frame the decision in front of them, understand how the Chinese legal and regulatory environment affects it, and coordinate the advice and work needed across every jurisdiction involved.

How we work in China
Our Shenzhen office is a registered representative office of a foreign law firm. Under the PRC rules for foreign law firm representative offices, we advise on the laws of jurisdictions in which our lawyers are qualified and on international law and practice, and we can provide information on the impact of the Chinese legal environment. We do not provide PRC legal services such as PRC legal opinions or representation before PRC courts. Where a matter needs PRC legal advice, filings or representation, we work alongside licensed PRC law firms and coordinate their work with ours, so the client receives one consistent plan.
